Stay Social with Caz!:
Recently, Caz Camp Director Jim Mazzaferro took to the Caz Facebook page and suggested the idea that folks post pictures of themselves in their Caz gear somewhere else other than at Caz; at the beach, out shopping, out to dinner, at a sporting event, at school. It was a great idea.
Here is where you have been showing your Caz pride so far. Oh! And keep the photos coming!

Then show up for a fun time on Sunday November 4, 2012 from 9 am to noon. Prizes will be awarded for most registration/participation by section (brass, wind, string, piano). A great chance to reunite with camp friends and staff as you walk around the track!
Pledge forms available on the Caz website at www.cazadero.org. Preregister, or sign up on the day of the event.

Relive the thrills and great fun of summer while reconnecting with your Caz friends at the Fifth Annual Caz Camper Holiday Reunion Party! Mark your calendar for Saturday December 22, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Northbrae Community Church for the big event.
This event last year was a huge success as we had more than 100 campers and parents attend and celebrate both Caz and the holidays. This year, master of ceremonies Jim Mazzaferro, will again games and raffles, with giveaways that include substantial camp fee discounts. The Caz Youth Leadership Council has some exciting plans for our younger campers as well. There will also be a delectable line up of treats, including a veritable Festival of Cupcakes.
At the end of each session at Caz we give the campers a little exercise, a blank half sheet of paper with the words “Caz is….” printed in the left hand corner. Then we ask them to complete the sentence. Now, historically, blank sheets of paper are ominous and mind numbing but not for our campers. Each year we get the most beautiful heartfelt writings and artwork by campers trying to express what their time at camp has been for them.
This summer, Assistant Camp Director Jonathan Knight thought that counselors and staff should also get in the mix on Facebook. The result was a wonderful outpouring of sweet prose from our miraculous staff. These testimonials give you a great sense of what “Caz is”.
"My first summer at Caz was the most influential moment of my life. Cazadero introduced me to people who loved music, and, above that, loved sharing music with anyone they could. Each year the staff motivated (and still continues to motivate) me to become the best musician I can, not because I need to strive for perfection, but because of how much I love music."
