Spring 2009

Welcome to the new CazMatters Online, an electronic newsletter for Cazadero Performing Arts Camp!

We hope you enjoy the sleek new design and intriguing stories about Caz and the people that make it happen. This is a replacement for the printed CazMatters that was mailed to you each fall and spring, the new electronic newsletter will be e-mailed to you quarterly, saving postage, paper, time and making better use of Caz resources. Being web-based, the articles will be archived on our website for reference later. Of course, you may always opt out of receiving the newsletter by unsubscribing at any time. We hope you enjoy the newsletter and even forward it to other folks you think might be interested in what is happening at Cazadero throughout the year.

As a camper, staff, alumni, parent, donor, or friend, CazMatters is here to keep you up to date on all things Caz. If you have any feedback or suggestions for future stories, we would love to hear from you. Please call or e-mail the Berkeley Office and let us know.

Happy reading!

Jim was appointed Camp Director in 2001 and is entering his ninth year in the position. He recently sat down with Development Director Heather Thomson for a quick Camp Director Q&A.

Chef's Tales

Spring has sprung and up at Caz that means a lot of cleaning and prep work. While there is building and repair going on all over the camp complex, Anita is in the dining hall and kitchen getting them ready for the upcoming summer season.
